Our partner: the Alumniportal Deutschland

Since 2013 we are incorporating the Alumniportal Deutschland, which has more than 120,000 alumni and development cooperation partners worldwide. In this way, the students not only have access to GIZ project staff in their project country, but they can also form virtual 'study tandems' with German alumni in the project country. This should help them to gain a better understanding of the country and its people, to be able to place the topic issues correctly in the country context and to obtain access to helpful information.

At the same time, the Alumniportal Deutschland serves as a platform for information and knowledge: in the community group „Between Lecture Hall and Project Work“, the participants can find all the important and current information, deadlines and documents about the project.
